Abstract
Bonnard tells us in his paintings the story of the subjects he desires. The iridescent colours in opposition to the white of an opal, drive your eyes toward the place where the story begins. This going and back of your eyes between the colours and the objects treated like precious things, allows the viewer to enter in the architecture of his paintings. The idea of the frame is also reflected in the touch of painting, in the organization of the scene. Your attention is captured in this frames and captivated by the scene. Consequently, we can only watch the story of precious things Bonnard desires, precious things Marthe, his wife, supports. Bonnard returns their lights, because they drive his life as a painter. Freud talks about fundamental fantasy and its frame, which suits your desire with a story of a person you choose, person who drives your life and your destiny.
