Abstract
Suffering at work may be the result of interpersonal and/or collective pressures putting certain professionals in difficulty. They may even induce the impossibility of realising certain assignments that professionals are supposed to accomplish. Before addressing this problem, one can consider the institution, through the group psychoanalytical perspective. The group can be seen as an entity having a story and its own sense of belonging. The group countenance, when based on an authoritarian process, upholds individual narcissisms and favours links.
