Abstract
⺠Microemulsions formed with Triton X-100 or Tween 80 posses high solubilizing capacities for DDT. ⺠Microemulsion formed with Tween 80 enhanced the biodegradation of DDT by Phanerochaete chrysosporium. ⺠Transporting DDT from crystalline phase to mycelium of P. chrysosporium is likely a pre-requisite for DDT biodegradation.
