Abstract
⺠Hydrothermal treatment was more suitable to convert the lignocellulose. ⺠A lower Ea was obtained in higher temperature range for hydrothermal treatment. ⺠Both cellulose and hemicellulose could decompose in higher temperature range for hydrothermal treatment. ⺠Even in higher temperature range, only hemicellulose decomposed. ⺠Kinetics of pyrolytic and hydrothermal decomposition of water hyacinth were test.
