Abstract
⺠Participants used a computer modeling tool to solve a complex problem. ⺠Field-independent learners outperformed field-dependent learners. âºÂ Field-mixed learners outperformed field-dependent learners. âºÂ Learners interacted with the tool in statistically significant different ways. âºÂ Implications about the design of joint cognitive systems are discussed.
