Abstract
⺠A qualitative analysis of unsolicited student accounts of group work online. ⺠Group work is identified as a source of emotion. ⺠The sources of emotion that are unique to group work online were also identified. ⺠An interdisciplinary approach to interpreting the findings was adopted. âºÂ Some recommendations for the design and practice of group work online are made.
