Abstract
► An interaction was found between the trust and discussion mode on learning gains. ► Students in the consultant group learned more than those in other two groups. ► The trust had no impact on learning in the consultant group and entrepreneur group. ► In the consultant group, high-trust students learned more than low-trust students.
