Abstract
⺠Teachers face immigrant-learners linguistic and social-cultural differences. ⺠Understanding psychological difference is a socio-cultural and value-laden process. ⺠Teachers 'accounts of bright-student and students' needs reveal their constructions. ⺠Teachers in different cultural-contact-zones provided alternative constructions. ⺠Teachers with immigrant background stress bilingual and bi-cultural development.
