Abstract
The authors propose a technical solution to the problem of relieving residual stresses generated during welding NPP circulation pipes using an ultrasonic device. Residual stress relieving in the welded joints of NPP circulation pipes by means of an ultrasonic device during welding can improve the reliability and increase the strength characteristics. Welded joints treated with ultrasound during welding have a fine-grained structure and high corrosion resistance. The functional diagram of the device and its design are presented.
