Abstract
⺠Mechanisms of tribocharging in particulates in realistic processing conditions are elucidated. ⺠Parametric studies on different factors affecting tribocharging is conducted. ⺠Work functions of typical additives used as antistatics are determined in silico. ⺠Particles with higher hygroscopicity have greater efficacy in reduction of tribocharges.
