Abstract
The SEM image of the SC-HIS-CCBs (left) and the EDX image of the Ni-adsorbed SC-HIS-CCBs (right) are depicted. The dots on the SC-HIS-CCBs indicate that S. cerevisiae has been immobilized on the surface of the beads with good distribution. Moreover, the EDX image of the Ni-adsorbed SC-HIS-CCBs indicates the presence of Ni(II) on the SC-HIS-CCBs.
