Abstract
⺠Systematic strategies for improving Burkholderia lipase production were established. ⺠After optimization, the maximum lipase production was increased to 22.6 U/ml. ⺠The Burkholderia lipase exhibits good thermal and pH stabilities. ⺠Production of the Burkholderia lipase was successfully scaled up to 5 l fermentor.
