Abstract
⺠The kinetic theory of azo dye RR 141 decolorization using immobilized cell system with indigenous Aeromonas hydrophila is studied. ⺠The kinetic theory of bio-reaction is determined to be the bio-reaction based on Langmuir adsorption isotherm. ⺠All experimental data have a common adsorption equilibrium constant. ⺠Both the viability of cells and the ultimate extent of bio-reaction depend proportionally on the nutrient source. ⺠The stream flow decreases the ultimate extent of bio-reaction, but it does not affect the viability of immobilized cells.
