Abstract
► We conducted chitosan coagulation and membrane filtration tests on Chlorella vulgaris. ► 100 mg/L chitosan reduced both reversible and irreversible foulings on membrane. ► Cyclic filtration and cleaning is feasible to dewater Chlorella vulgaris ESP-6 from broth.
