Abstract
- Superhydrophobic silicone-urea surfaces were prepared by silica modification.
- Spin-coating, doctor blade and spray coating methods were successfully used.
- Silica coated surfaces displayed hierarchical micro/nano features.
- Surfaces with water contact angles above 150° and very low hysteresis were prepared.
