Abstract
- Stainless steel and PET surfaces were modified using the same chemical pathway.
- Hydrophobic surfaces were prepared by polydopamine coating and fluorination reaction.
- The wetting properties of the surfaces were studied using the Young-Van Oss theory.
- Fluorinated stainless steel surfaces are antiadhesive towards Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
