Abstract
⺠Precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) with different morphology and particle size were prepared by ultasound assited carbonation method. ⺠UV-curable formulations contain mixture of acrylate resins, PCC and GCC were prepared by sonication. ⺠Mechanical and thermal properties of films were characterized with DMA. ⺠Increasing PCC loading percentages increases the elastic moduli (E*) by even more than 50% for some films. ⺠The highest glass transition temperature (Tg) values of 94 °C was obtained for film which contains PCC prepared by sonication.
