Abstract
⺠Low cost, hydrophobic, flame retardant UV curable soybean oil based sol-gel coatings have promising results. ⺠The subject is related to the scope of the journal (Progress in organic coatings). ⺠This study is novel. ⺠“Progress in organic coatings” is reputable scientific journal. ⺠Acrylated epoxidized soybean oil used in UV-curable sol-gel formulations to obtain biodegredable, low cost, flame retardant and hydrophobic coatings.
