Abstract
⺠Successful test of zinc-magnesium pigments for corrosion protection of aluminum. ⺠Best pigment type zinc with 26 wt% magnesium. ⺠More than 10,000 h positive salt spray test. ⺠Corrosion potential for zinc with 26/20/16 wt% magnesium lower than AA2024 alloy. ⺠Cathodic potential increase faster than observed protection activity time.
