Abstract
⺠Coating materials and its thickness affect the corrosion-protective performance. ⺠Polyethylene had better performance than coal-tar enamel due to its low porosity. ⺠Formation of denser oxide layer suppressed oxide lifting effectively. ⺠Thicker coating exhibited higher protective performance by increasing Roxide.
