Abstract
⺠Several parameters influence adhesion between concrete and protective coating. ⺠A reproducible methodology of peel tests is developed to measure fracture energy. ⺠A flexible porous membrane is introduced into the liquid coating before crosslinking. ⺠Adhesion is correlated to the composition of the fracture loci after debonding. ⺠The mechanical anchorage determines the adhesion level between coating and concrete.
