Abstract
⺠EIS is able to quantify the ionic conductivity parallel to the metallic substrate. ⺠Parallel ionic conductivity is obtained from four-electrode measurement. ⺠FE simulations confirm the validity of the experimental impedance data. ⺠The current injected from the solution splits into ionic and electronic paths.
