Abstract
⺠Polyurethane coatings having an amphiphilic surface were prepared. ⺠Novel functional siloxane polymers with orthogonal acid groups were synthesized. ⺠Siloxane polymers with orthogonal acid groups were incorporated into a polyurethane matrix. ⺠Surface characterization showed that the acid functional siloxane was present on surface. ⺠Laboratory assays of amphiphilic coatings illustrated their utility in the marine environment.
