Abstract
⺠The corrosion behaviors of zinc-rich coating were characterized. ⺠Surface modification of zinc particle was carried out in the aqueous solution. ⺠Derivatives of phosphoric and phosphonic acid was employed for the modification. ⺠The electrochemical activity of the zinc particle was lowered by the modification. ⺠Corrosion resistance was improved mainly due to the decrease of zinc activity.
