Abstract

This paper addresses the consensus problem of discrete-time high-dimensional linear systems with or without delays. The considered system can be viewed as a multi-agent system consisting of multiple agents, each of which possesses its dynamics distinct from the others and is influenced by the states of all the other agents. This study establishes some necessary and sufficient conditions under which the system solves a consensus problem and explicitly expresses the consensus function if the system has a consensus property. The effectiveness of the obtained results is verified by a numerical example.
