Comments on “Input-to-state stability of hybrid systems with receding horizon control in the presence of packet dropouts” [Automatica 48 (2012) 1920–1923]

In a recent article (Ma and Gupta, 2012), the input-to-state stability (ISS) of a hybrid system with packet dropouts is analyzed. Theorem 10 in the article requires stronger assumptions than those listed in its statement. Specifically, it must be assumed that the packet dropout effect μμ should be sufficiently small.
