Abstract
⺠Rapid deceleration events were examined over a 5-day period of monitoring in a cohort of drivers aged 67-87 years. ⺠Approximately 30% of drivers had events and a third of these had four or more events. ⺠Older drivers with rapid deceleration events had slightly better performance on measures of vision and cognition.
