Abstract
► Rapid deceleration events were examined over a 5-day period of monitoring in a cohort of drivers aged 67-87 years. ► Approximately 30% of drivers had events and a third of these had four or more events. ► Older drivers with rapid deceleration events had slightly better performance on measures of vision and cognition.
