Abstract
⺠We compare alternative discrete choice frameworks for ordinal discrete variables. ⺠A simulation based comparison is undertaken. ⺠Model performance in the presence of under reporting is examined. ⺠The results clearly highlight the emergence of generalized ordered logit model.
