Abstract
⺠The effects of the new traffic safety law on driving under influence alcohol were explored. ⺠There was no decrease in the ratio of drivers under the influence of alcohol vs. all drivers. ⺠There was no decrease in the number of drivers under the influence of alcohol, nor in their mean blood alcohol concentration. ⺠The new law had limited effects on driving under the influence of alcohol.
