Abstract
⺠Knowledge aspects of driving expertise were assessed. ⺠Presentation mode of regarding test items was investigated. ⺠A cross-sectional and a longitudinal study were conducted with experts and novices. ⺠The integration of animated instead of static scenarios supported only the novices. ⺠Compared with the experts, the novices' test performance increased over time.
