Abstract
⺠The study measured the amount of sleepiness risk factors in diurnal car accidents. ⺠253 drivers involved in diurnal accidents were interviewed next the accident. ⺠12.3% of the drivers reported at least one of the sleepiness risk factors. ⺠Sleepiness risk factors were more evident in specific diurnal car accidents.
