Abstract
⺠We looked at inhibitory differences between driving offenders and non-offenders. ⺠We compared these groups on the Stop-signal task and the Go/no-go task. ⺠The groups did not differ on the Stop-signal task. ⺠The offender group made more errors and had a faster reaction-time on had poorer inhibitory skills as measured by the Go/no-go task. ⺠The results add some support to the impulsivity theory of adolescent risk-taking.
