Abstract
⺠Tractor roll-over deaths in Victoria, Australia fell significantly between 1985 and 2010. ⺠Mandatory roll-over protection retrofitting did not have a simple, direct impact. ⺠New tractor fitment, rebates and publicity prior to regulation had a cumulative effect. ⺠During the same period, an increase in run over fatalities occurred. ⺠A similar systematic prevention strategy is needed for run over deaths.
