Abstract
⺠Estimating severity based on both risk of crash and possible consequences during a crash. ⺠The method takes different road users injury risk into consideration. ⺠Thus, the method reflects the actual dangerousness more accurately than traditional methods. ⺠It is not dependent on in-site human observers. ⺠The method may be used on data from previous studies.
