Abstract
⺠Driver behavior does not depend on the roadside configurations studied. ⺠Cross-sections and geometric elements do not affect the perception of roadside configurations. ⺠Geometric elements of the alignment do affect speed and lateral position. ⺠The beginning of the guardrail on left curves is dangerous.
