Abstract
⺠A two-stage mining framework is proposed to identify key risk conditions of crash severity. ⺠A genetic mining rule model is developed to identify the potential risk conditions. ⺠A mixed logit model is used to test the significance of the risk conditions. ⺠A case study on Taiwan freeway one-vehicle crash cases has been conducted. ⺠Discussions of key risk conditions with corresponding countermeasures are addressed.
