Abstract
⺠This retrospective study interviewed 1214 taxi drivers in Hanoi, Vietnam. ⺠The prevalence of their road traffic crashes was 22.7% during 2006-2009. ⺠Of the crashed drivers, 18.1% were involved in two to four crashes. ⺠Age of driver was negatively associated with the crash risk. ⺠Other significant factors were type of driving licence, employment status, sufficiency of income perceived, seat-belt usage and traffic infringement history.
