Abstract
⺠The planning of public transportation can be done by viewing networks as graphs and estimating network indicators. ⺠Collision prediction models incorporating transit elements and network indicators were developed. ⺠The models are grouped into four themes: infrastructure, network topology, route design, and transit performance. ⺠Collisions were associated with network properties such as: connectivity, coverageand the Index of Transit Availability. ⺠Collisions were also associated with transit attributes such as number and frequency of routes and bus density.
