Abstract
⺠We modelled vehicle-pedestrian collisions using the MAYDMO MB pedestrian model. ⺠Head transverse translation and rotation decrease with vehicle speed. ⺠Head transverse translation and rotation increase linearly with pedestrian speed. ⺠Head impact speed increases linearly with vehicle speed. ⺠Head transverse translation, rotation and impact speed vary cyclically with gait.
