Abstract
⺠Workload, vehicle control, PDT and hazard response measured in driving simulator. ⺠Visual complexity and presence of parked cars affected vehicle control. ⺠Responses to PDT and hazards were slower in the presence of parked vehicles. ⺠Results support workload as a mediator of speed compensation.
