Abstract
⺠We examine the manoeuvring performance of the modified LNG tanker hull form. ⺠Both the ship hydrodynamic coefficients and the ship-bank interaction were measured. ⺠They were used in the mathematical model with the ship steering autopilot. ⺠Increasing the area of two pairs of fins improved the ship directional stability. ⺠Increasing the area of rudder remedied for the ship manoeuvring in restricted water.
