Abstract
⺠Brownian particles create a convective-diffusion layer around a rising bubble. ⺠Interaction of submicron particles with a bubble should be described by an energy model. ⺠Concentration of particles may be analysed using “population balance equations”. ⺠Simple analytical expressions for collision and collection efficiency are obtained.
