Abstract
⺠Hydrophobic agent from coating undergoes hydrolysis and desorption in contact with water. ⺠Hydrophobicity degrades due to formation of water adsorption layers on the coating. ⺠Hydrophobicity degrades due to desorption of hydrophobic agent from the interface. ⺠Portion of wetted area in heterogeneous wetting regime can be defined in sessile drop method.
