Abstract

- A simple, efficient immobilization protocol on epoxy-support was developed.
- Gelatin and butylamine were used to regulate the micro-environment concurrently.
- BA/gelatin could regulate hydrophobic/ionic/biocompatible balance of support.
- The activity of lipase immobilized on BA/gelatin-support was improved by five times.
