Abstract
- Hemocompatibility of polyaniline films was determined for the first time.
- Pristine polyaniline and polyaniline modified by PAMPSA was studied.
- Pristine polyaniline influenced neither coagulation nor platelet adhesion.
- Films reprotonated with PAMPSA hindered coagulation and platelet adhesion.
- This effect was caused by interaction of films with coagulation factors X, V and II.
