Abstract
- Paclitaxel (PTX) was loaded by double drug-loading strategies, chemical conjugation and encapsulation, at the same time to improve the drug loading and its anti-tumor efficiency.
- High drug loading was found in the PTX P123 complex micelles and the micelles showed good anti-tumor efficiency against B16-bearing mice.
- PTX P123 complex micelles showed better safety properties with significant higher maximum tolerated dose compared with Taxol®.
