Abstract
- The manuscript has been prepared based on theoretical calculations of protein folding energy.
- The effect of electrostatic interaction of proteins with charged ligand functionalized nanoparticles and subsequent counterions diffusion into the bound proteins was earlier experimentally studied and published by us.
- In this theoretical work, I have investigated possible mechanisms of counterions in unfolding the bound proteins.
- This work supports our predicted RCPC model of interaction between charged proteins with oppositely charged functional nanoparticles.
