Abstract
- Systematic study of the cleaning power of common solvents for protein covered materials.
- Rinsing without ultrasonication does never remove all protein from the surface.
- The solvent should be adapted to the surface and the protein.
- For many sample/solvent combinations, water is a surprisingly good solvent.
