Abstract
- Submicron droplet size was obtained by single-step rotor/stator homogenizer.
- The emulsions are destabilized by both creaming and Ostwald ripening.
- Surface response methodology allows us to obtain an optimum formulation.
- The addition of silicon oil in the dispersed phase improved emulsion stability.
