Abstract
- Novel peptidomimetic ligands (αvβ3- or α5β1-selective) were grafted to Ti.
- The functionalization process was characterized and proved to be stable.
- Peptidomimetics enhanced osteoblast-like cell attachment and spreading on Ti.
- Peptidomimetics fostered cell proliferation and ALP expression.
- Higher mineralization was observed on the surfaces coated with the ligands.
